Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Mayfield Heights, OH | 13-Week Contract

This facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift travel assignment in Mayfield Heights, OH. The unit provides cardiac-monitored, medical-surgical care requiring strong rhythm interpretation skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend schedule options: Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon only (no exceptions)

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Competency in cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
• Active BLS and ACLS required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required

Licensing

• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted

Additional Details

• One supervisor/manager/ANM/director reference from the past 12 months required (no peer references)
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation; two attempts allowed to pass
• Background check and drug screening required; no open cases accepted
• Nurses are currently exempt from nicotine-free requirements
• Pre-start modules average 6–15 hours and must be completed before the start date
• Contract extensions available up to 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
