Cardiac PCU Nurse – NOC

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse for a 13-week contract. This role offers night shift work (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 3 × 12-hour schedule, totaling 36 hours per week with guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of strong cardiac PCU experience
• GA or compact license (must be current and in hand)
• NIHSS certification required
• RN licensure in good standing

Clinical Environment

You'll provide care to post-cardiac patients in a stepdown setting, managing stable to intermediate-acuity cases. This unit focuses on telemetry monitoring, early mobility, and preparation for discharge or floor transition.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Hours: Guaranteed hours throughout contract
