ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week contract places you in an intensive care unit in the Simi Valley area of Southern California, a community that offers easy access to outdoor recreation, coastal scenery, and the greater Los Angeles metro.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Holiday flexibility: one holiday off may be approved; availability for the other holiday is expected

Clinical Scope

The ICU team delivers high-acuity nursing care across a broad patient population, including complex medical and critical care cases. Nurses lead coordinated care planning, implement evidence-based interventions, evaluate patient outcomes, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. Discharge planning and patient/family education are integral to the role.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (California or compact)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• PALS (AHA or ARC)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Experience & Education

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• BSN preferred
• Charting system proficiency required — prior experience in the applicable platform is mandatory
