ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to deliver coordinated care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced critical care environment. You will supervise and direct nursing staff, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and apply clinical judgment in a dynamic setting.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
- 36 or 48-hour work weeks
- One holiday off approved; willingness to work remaining holidays required
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and direct nursing team members; delegate appropriately
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated care
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education
- Support a safe, healing environment
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (state of assignment)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care/ICU experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Additional Requirements
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience required
- Vaccination compliance per facility policy (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
