NICU Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced NICU nurse for a 13-week contract working three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll care for critically ill neonates in a high-acuity Level IV NICU environment, with exposure to complex surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions. The unit also supports a regional fetal care center and manages a high volume of intubated and acute infants.

Clinical Scope

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years NICU experience
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated competency with ventilators and tracheal care
• Ohio state license or multi-state compact license
• Supervisor reference from the past 2 years

What to Expect

You'll float within the hospital as needed. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, IV teams, physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy. A 36-hour orientation is provided. Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
