Registered Nurse – Observation Unit

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Observation Unit on a day shift schedule. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment while maintaining flexibility to float to other units as needed.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Call is rare
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Primary Role

You'll work primarily on the Observation Unit but will also float to other medical-surgical units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and possibly the Emergency Department, depending on patient census and your skill set.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years current/recent experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing
• Ability to read Telemetry and BCRA (competency testing on day one)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications

Please note: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission to be honored.
