Cardiac Catheterization Lab – EP Tech (RCIS)
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab is seeking an experienced RCIS professional for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts (06:00–16:30) in a two-procedure-room lab performing a high volume of diagnostic and interventional cases.
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with left heart catheterizations, complete heart studies, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), chronic total occlusions (CTO), and electrophysiology implants. The lab uses modern imaging equipment and supports a collaborative team environment with experienced RNs and technologists.
Required Skills & Certifications
- RCIS certification with demonstrated competency in LHC, complete heart catheterization, and PCI
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Flexible, team-focused mindset with strong communication skills
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Inari, Penumbra, ROTA, peripheral intervention, right heart studies, or temporary pacing will be prioritized.
Schedule & Call
- Day shift, 4 × 10 schedule
- Rotating on-call and weekend responsibilities required
- Hospital scrubs provided
