Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, four 12-hour nights per week
- Every other weekend; no call
- 13-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week
- May float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, working alongside a collaborative nursing team. This role offers the stability of a predictable schedule with the variety of a float position when needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- Professional references and skills checklist completion
- Standard onboarding health requirements:
- Immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
- Tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit testing
- Drug screening and background check
- ACLS certification
