Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Overview
Join the medical-surgical unit for a 13-week contract in Wichita, KS. This is a nights position offering stability and predictability for nurses seeking a focused assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4 days per week
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Call: None required
Clinical Environment
You'll work on a medical-surgical unit providing care to a diverse patient population across the care continuum. You may float to similar units on the same campus or to other facilities within Wichita as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required)
- Completion of required onboarding assessments, including core competencies, EKG exam, and EHR orientation
- Standard health screening and immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening, fit testing)
- Background check and EPLS certification
- Two professional references
