Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Wichita, KS

This is a 13-week contract (with 90-week potential) on a Medical-Surgical unit in Wichita, KS, offering night shift coverage with guaranteed hours.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 12-hour nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Unit Overview

The Med-Surg unit manages a general acute care patient population across a range of medical and surgical diagnoses. Nurses may be required to float to like units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area. Flexibility and adaptability across similar clinical environments is expected.

Required Credentials (for Submission)

• Active RN license (verified via Nursys)
• License/Certificate Verification
• Skills Checklist
• Two professional references

Onboarding Requirements

• EKG competency exam
• Core competency assessment
• Point-of-care glucose testing competency
• Color vision screening
• Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test, health statement, and 11-panel drug screen
• Background check and employment/education verification
