Night Shift Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
The Opportunity
Join the medical-surgical nursing team on a night shift rotation (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 48 hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
Responsibilities
You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting. Be prepared to float to similar units within the facility or to other campuses in the Wichita area as needed.
Requirements
- Current nursing license (Nursys verification required at submission)
- License/Certificate verification
- ACLS or equivalent certification required upon onboarding
- EKG competency exam upon onboarding
Required Onboarding
Standard health screening and immunizations include MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing (2-Step PPD or IGRA), and a drug screen. Criminal background check and EPLS verification required.
