Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical unit in Wichita, KS.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (4 x 12-hour nights)
• Every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 8, 2026

Unit Details

You may float to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Required Credentials

• Current RN license (verification required)
• ACLS or PALS certification
• EKG competency

What to Expect

Dress code is ceil blue scrubs. You'll chart using the facility's electronic health record system.

Onboarding

Standard onboarding includes health screenings (vaccinations, TB testing, drug screen, fit testing), background check, skills verification, and core competency assessments.

This is a straightforward nights position with predictable scheduling and the flexibility of every-other-weekend rotations—ideal if you prefer consistency without call obligations.
