Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Location: Wichita, KS
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights, 4 x 12)
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
- Start date: November 8, 2026
Unit Overview
You'll work in the facility's medical-surgical unit, caring for a diverse patient population. Be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within the Wichita area as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- License/Certificate verification
- EPLS certification
- EKG competency exam completion
- Core competencies validation
- Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Negative fit test
- Criminal background check clearance
- Professional references (2)
- Drug screen (11-panel)
