Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Wichita, KS

This is a night shift Med-Surg travel nursing position based in Wichita, KS, with a 13-week contract and a November 2026 start date.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 12-hour nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Unit Overview

You'll work on a Medical-Surgical unit caring for a general acute care patient population. Candidates should be prepared to float to like units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.

Dress Code

• Ceil blue scrubs

• Active RN license (verified via Nursys)

Onboarding Requirements

• Color vision screening
• Core competency assessment
• EKG exam
• Point-of-care glucose testing competency
• Charting system test-out
• Background check and employment/education verification
• Standard immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Respirator fit test
• 11-panel drug screen
• Valid government-issued photo ID
