Medical-Surgical Nursing – Wichita, KS

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a permanent position with guaranteed 48 hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night shift)
• Pattern: Every other weekend; no call required
• Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs

Clinical Role

You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. Be prepared for flexibility—you may float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Required Credentials & Licenses

• Current RN license (verification required)
• Nursys registration

Required Before Start

Standard health screening and vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing), fit testing, criminal background check, and skills assessment. EHR competency test for the facility's system will be completed during onboarding.
