Nursing Position – Medical-Surgical Unit
Position Details
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights, 12-hour)
- Schedule: 4 days per week; every other weekend
- No call required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: November 8, 2026
The Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing patients across a range of conditions and acuity levels. You may be asked to float to similar units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita to support staffing needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required)
- ACLS certification
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test
- Drug screening
- Background check
- Two professional references
