Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, four 12-hour nights per week
- Every other weekend
- No call required
- 90-week contract
The Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels. You may float to similar units on the same campus or other locations within Wichita to support staffing needs.
What We're Looking For
- Active RN license (verification required)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different unit environments
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR system used at facility)
Onboarding Requirements
Standard requirements include immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), tuberculosis screening, drug screening, background check, EKG competency exam, and core competency validations. Specific details will be provided upon job offer.
