Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse — Wichita, KS
This 13-week contract places you in a Medical-Surgical unit in Wichita, KS, with a November 2026 start date. The position is filling vacant permanent positions and offers strong, consistent scheduling.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- No call duties
Float Requirements
Candidates should be prepared to float to like units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.
Clinical Setting
You'll work in a Medical-Surgical environment providing care across a general acute care patient population. An EKG competency is required, reflecting the unit's breadth of clinical scope.
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
- Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs

Onboarding Requirements
- Core competency and EKG assessments

- Fit test, health statement, and background check
- 11-panel drug screen
Licenses
Active Kansas RN license or compact licensure required.
