Oncology Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced oncology nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll join a dynamic nursing team delivering compassionate care to patients receiving cancer treatment.
Schedule & Logistics
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour days)
- Pattern: 4 days on / 3 days off; every other weekend
- No call requirements
- Start Date: November 8, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Float Expectation: You may be assigned to similar oncology units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- Professional references and employment verification
- Standard onboarding requirements include core competencies, EKG exam, EMR orientation, and background check
- Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza; TB screening (PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test and health statement required
