Medical-Surgical RN — Neurology, Stroke & Medical Unit

Boston, MA | 13-Week Contract | Days & Nights Rotation

This Medical-Surgical unit cares for a diverse patient population including neurology, stroke, and general medical patients. The role requires the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and manage patients with varying acuity across day and night shifts.

Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 89-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Experience with automated medication dispensing systems
• Telemetry competency assessment on day one
• BLS certification
• Current Massachusetts RN license

Preferred Experience

• Background in Surgical, Neurology, or Orthopedic nursing
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems

Note: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be placed at a local rate, which differs from the standard travel rate.
