Nursing Position – Medical-Surgical Unit
Location: Wichita, KS
Shift & Schedule:
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, four 12-hour nights per week
- Every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- 90-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week
Position Overview:
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse to join its nursing team. You will provide direct patient care on a med-surg unit, with the flexibility to float to similar units on the same or other campuses within the Wichita area as needed.
Requirements:
- Current RN license (Kansas or reciprocal)
- Valid nursing license verification (Nursys)
- Professional references
- ACLS certification required for onboarding
- Standard health screening requirements: vaccinations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza), TB testing, Hepatitis B status, and fit testing
- Background check and drug screening (completed during onboarding)
What to Expect:
Blue scrubs required. You will chart in the facility's electronic health record system and participate in competency validation and orientation modules during your first weeks.

This is a straightforward assignment in a supportive medical-surgical environment with predictable scheduling and no call burden.
