Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nursing Position

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its progressive care unit. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

You'll deliver care to progressive care patients, utilizing current EHR systems and evidence-based protocols. Float assignments to similar units within the campus or other locations in Wichita may occur as needed.

Requirements

• Valid RN license (verification required at submission)
• ACLS or BLS certification required
• Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
• TB screening (2-Step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test, health statement, and drug screening required during onboarding
• Background check and education verification
