OR Circulator
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR Circulator to join the surgical team. You'll provide direct nursing care in the operating room, coordinating all aspects of patient care from arrival through discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Observe, document, and communicate patient conditions to the care team
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and all surgical disciplines
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision
- Assess and facilitate patient discharge planning needs
About the Role
This position demands critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environment. You'll follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- On-call and holiday availability required
Required Credentials
- Current nursing license with verification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Completion of facility onboarding requirements, including pharmacology and specialty exams, core competencies, and required immunizations and screenings (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB testing, Fit Test, and drug screening)
