Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekend Commitment: Up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; holiday flexibility required
Unit Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Document and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and ensure physician and nursing orders are executed
- Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with team members
- Work independently with critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment appropriately
Required Credentials
- Active RN license
- Current ACLS certification
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding requirements including pharmacology, medical-surgical, and core competency assessments
- Immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B, TB screening)
- Two-step PPD or IGRA
