RN – Medical-Surgical Unit
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
You'll provide direct nursing care on a general surgical unit serving adult patients, including those requiring telemetry monitoring. You'll implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and execute physician and nursing orders. This role requires strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, sometimes high-stress environment.
Unit Details
Schedule & Expectations
- Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
- Holiday coverage as needed by the department
Required Credentials
- Current RN license (verification required)
- Standard Precautions compliance and appropriate use of personal protective equipment
- Completion of facility onboarding assessments, including pharmacology and medical-surgical nursing competencies
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
