Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) – RN

Position Overview

The facility's Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit provides specialized, high-acuity care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries, as well as those managing severe cardiac and respiratory conditions. You'll deliver 24-hour monitoring and advanced interventions in a dynamic critical care environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night)
• 36 hours per week
• 26-week contract
• No floating required
• Weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience
• At least 2 years in CT/CVICU
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Travel nursing experience required
• Travel-only assignment; must have been separated from previous employer for 6+ months

What You'll Do

Provide specialized post-operative and critical care management for cardiothoracic patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, advanced life support, and complex medication management. You'll work alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting.
