Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care on a med/surg telemetry unit with potential to float to related units to support the same patient population.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating day/night 3x12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs; the facility will do its best to honor your preference but reserves the right to adjust as necessary
• Must work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• 12 months of permanent, full-time experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing
• Active Ohio license or current compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Professional manager or clinical supervisor reference from within the past 12 months
• Willingness to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts permitted)

What to Expect

You'll care for patients with telemetry monitoring needs in a fast-paced med/surg setting. You may float to related units to provide continuity of care. Orientation includes facility-specific modules and skills validation.
