Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract to provide direct patient care on a busy medical/surgical unit. You'll monitor telemetry patients, manage acute and post-operative cases, and may float to related units to support the same patient population during your assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will work to honor your preference
• You must be available to work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent RN experience in medical/surgical or telemetry nursing
• Current, permanent Ohio RN license or valid compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months (not a co-worker)
• Passing scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)

What to Expect

During orientation, you'll complete competency modules and assessments to ensure readiness for the unit. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required (medical/religious exemptions only).

Compliance Notes

Background clearance required; no open cases or license hits accepted. Background investigation and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
