Medical-Surgical Nursing – Night Shift
Position Details
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Shift: 18:45–07:15 (nights)
- Schedule: Alternating weeks — 4×12-hour shifts (48 hours) one week, then 3×12-hour shifts (36 hours) the next week
- Rotation: Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat (48-hr week); Sun/Wed/Thu (36-hr week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Holiday Coverage: Work holidays only if they fall on your scheduled shift
Requirements
- 2+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Current MS nursing license or multi-state compact license
- BLS (AHA) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of nursing experience
- ACLS certification
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, working nights as part of a collaborative clinical team. This role offers schedule predictability with no on-call requirements and a reasonable weekend rotation.
