Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shifts in a fast-paced med-surg unit caring for a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
- Start Date: November 23, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state); must be in hand at time of submission
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- TO (travel order clearance) needed at submission
What You'll Do
Deliver direct patient care, coordinate treatments, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include documentation, patient education, and maintaining safe, quality care in a supportive clinical environment.
