Emergency Room RN – Charge (Night Shift) | Arcata, CA

This position is for an experienced Emergency Room RN to serve in a Charge RN capacity on nights in a busy ED setting in Northern California.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours/week guaranteed

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: October 12, 2026

Role Overview

As Charge RN, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight across the ED during the night shift, supporting staff, coordinating patient flow, and managing high-acuity emergency cases. This is a hands-on charge role in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Required Credentials

• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current)
• Negative TB screen within 12 months prior to contract start date

Location

Located in the Arcata, CA area along the Northern California coast. Housing options are available within a 30-mile radius, including Arcata, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Eureka, and Westhaven.
