Emergency Department RN — Roanoke, VA

This opportunity is with a freestanding emergency department in the Roanoke, VA area, caring for both high- and low-acuity patients across a fast-paced ED setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM (Night)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Contract length: 91 weeks

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of presentations, from critical emergencies to lower-acuity visits. Nurses work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Daily responsibilities include medication administration, lab coordination, and direct care of critically ill patients.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Preferred Certification

• ENPC

Required Experience & Skills

• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience is required
• Demonstrated ability to care for critically ill patients

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs

Float

• No float requirement
