This night-shift travel opportunity is on an inpatient oncology unit in Richmond, Virginia. The unit cares for oncology patients requiring chemotherapy administration and ongoing medical-surgical oncology nursing care.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month (Saturday and Sunday nights)
- Float: As needed
Unit Environment
- Oncology-focused inpatient unit
- Support staff includes PCTs and a unit secretary on day shift
- Mobile phone technology used for communication among staff, physicians, and patients
- Patient experience standards include bedside shift report, hourly safety rounds, and whiteboard communication
Required Qualifications
- Medical/surgical nursing background required
- Chemotherapy administration experience
- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs
