Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract (91 weeks guaranteed, 36 hours per week). This is a day shift role with Tuesday starts, working 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Clinical Setting
Scope of Practice
- Provide antepartum and intrapartum nursing care
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpretation
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Support tubal ligation and salpingectomy procedures
- Collaborate with obstetric and anesthesia teams
- Float to postpartum and medical floors as needed (tech role only on medical floor)
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Texas)
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Intermediate fetal monitoring experience
- Operating room circulator experience
- C-EFM certification preferred

- Scrub tech skills
