Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its progressive care unit. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work with patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and care in a supportive clinical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 31, 2026

Unit Details

You'll join a PCU team managing patients who require closer monitoring than a general medical-surgical floor but do not require full ICU-level care. Patient populations typically include post-operative recovery, cardiac monitoring, and other intermediate-acuity conditions.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Kentucky)
• BLS certification required
• PCU or acute care nursing experience preferred
