About the Role
This OR position is based in an ambulatory surgery center with a focused orthopedic specialty. The role functions in a circulator/scrub capacity within a high-quality, team-oriented surgical environment. Floating to other centers within the division/area may be required.
Clinical Scope
The surgical caseload is exclusively orthopedic, including:
- Total joints: hips, knees, and shoulders
- Sports medicine: arthroscopy and ligament procedures
- Spine: ACDF and lumbar laminectomy
- Podiatry and hand procedures
Charting is paper-based.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of general OR experience
- 1–2 years of orthopedic/spine OR experience
- Advanced proficiency in total joints, sports, spine, podiatry, and hand procedures
Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all required)
Dress Code
Grey scrubs are provided by the facility.
This is a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, making it an excellent fit for candidates seeking a structured, daytime-only surgical assignment in an orthopedic-focused setting.
