Cardiovascular OR Nurse – Surgical Services | Tomball, TX
Shift: 4 x 10-hour days | 07:00–17:00
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Unit
This active cardiovascular and surgical OR suite handles a high volume of complex cardiac and vascular cases. The unit operates multiple ORs plus a cystoscopy room, with a collaborative day-shift team that includes circulator and scrub tech support. Night shift is on-call only.
Procedures You'll Perform
- On-pump and off-pump CABG
- Vascular bypass
- Carotid endarterectomy
- PPM revision
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 3 years of recent CV surgery experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in both on-pump and off-pump CABG
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Vascular surgery experience
- Additional CV OR background
Schedule & Expectations
- Day shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- On-call required approximately 2 weeks per month
- Weekend commitment included
Dress Code
- RNs: Royal Blue scrubs
