Surgical Technologist – Vail, CO

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for an inpatient acute care facility in Vail, Colorado. This is a rotating 12-hour shift position (3 x 12s) for a 13-week contract, with a guaranteed 32 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current Colorado state licensure as a Surgical Technologist (DORA)
• Minimum 2+ years experience in inpatient/acute care settings
• BLS certification required
• CST preferred (not required)
• Strong orthopedic background

Clinical Focus

You'll work across a diverse surgical schedule including:

• Orthopedic surgery – total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders)
• General surgery – colon resections, hernias, appendectomies
• GYN procedures
• Spine surgery
• Trauma cases
• Minimally invasive surgery – Da Vinci XI experience required

What to Know

• Rotating shift schedule; all time-off and schedule requests must be submitted at the time of application
• 70-mile radius commute requirement
