Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated, high-quality care to patients on a telemetry unit. You'll assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide education to patients and families while ensuring safe, effective nursing practice.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- 36 or 48-hour options available
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 9, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient health data; identify and address care issues using the nursing process
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Provide direct patient care and health education
- Coordinate care delivery and delegate appropriately to nursing team members
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Critical thinking skills and independent professional judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
