Registered Nurse – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated patient care and provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing staff. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: A couple weekend calls and a few weekday calls every 4 weeks
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans
- Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to nursing and healthcare team members
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Evaluate patient progress toward health outcomes
- Maintain safe, healing, and professional work environment
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (state of practice)
- Current BLS/CPR certification from approved vendor
- ACLS certification from approved vendor
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
