Labor & Delivery RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

This Labor & Delivery unit provides hands-on obstetric care in a dynamic inpatient setting. Nurses manage the full spectrum of L&D cases and are expected to adapt to varying patient volumes and acuity throughout each shift.

Shift & Schedule

• Days, 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• Weekend requirement: 1 shift per week OR 2 shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday shift required per contract
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks or longer
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Float Requirements

May be asked to float to Mother/Baby, Newborn Nursery, or the OR (circulating role) based on unit needs.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitoring Certification)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Non-U.S.-trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience

Candidates must be flexible and willing to adapt to the facility's scheduling needs throughout the contract period.
