Interventional Radiology Technologist – 13-Week Contract

About the Role

The facility's Interventional Radiology department is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join the team in a fast-paced procedural environment. You'll work independently in the IR suite, supporting a wide range of minimally invasive procedures and providing both scrub and circulator support as needed.

Shift & Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• On-call coverage for trauma cases mandatory
• 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (excluding on-call time)
• Weekly orientation (Mondays, barring holidays)
• 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

Your daily work will include:

• Thrombectomy procedures (PE and stroke cases)
• Angiographic procedures: TIPS, angioplasty, and related interventions
• Independent procedure room management
• Scrub and circulator duties

Required Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology
• Current Massachusetts Radiology MA License
• ARRT Registration (RT ART)
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• CT ARRT and IR ARRT certifications required
• Strong knowledge of thrombectomy devices and angiographic equipment

• No float required
• BLS certification required
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
• Candidates who have worked at this facility within the last six months are not eligible; a six-month separation is required
