Cardiac Cath Lab RN — Lewisville, TX
This is a 13-week contract in an active Cath/EP Lab, with a targeted start date in late November to early December. The position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 4x10 day shift schedule (06:00–16:30) with a rotating off-day/week.
Unit Overview
The lab handles a full range of interventional cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, including:
- Left Heart Cath & PCI
- Pacemaker and ICD implants
- TEE and Cardioversion
- Loop Recorders
- EP Studies and EP Ablations (including Amulets)
Required Skills
- Experienced Cath Lab scrub nurse
- Experienced monitoring nurse
- EP scrub and EP monitor experience strongly preferred
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- RCIS
- RRT
Schedule & On-Call
- Day shift: 06:00–16:30
- Night shift: Rotating on-call (minimum 3 team members per call rotation)
- Minimum two rotating weekends per month
Additional Details
- Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
- Float requirement: May float within the facility or to a sister facility within a reasonable radius, based on applicable skill set
