Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, , and care for patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Support patients and families during high-stress situations with compassion and professionalism
Position Details
- Location: Bowling Green, KY
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Current RN license (Kentucky)
- BLS certification required
- Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple patients and high patient volumes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
