Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a busy med/surg tele unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and managing a diverse patient population requiring telemetry surveillance.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: Day, 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Location: Euclid, OH
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Holiday Coverage: Must work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience
• Current, active Ohio or compact state RN license (in hand at time of submission)
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications (active, in hand)
• Recent charting experience (within 6 months) with the facility's electronic medical record system
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director who can speak to your work in this specialty (from assignments within the past 12 months)

Orientation Requirements

During your first weeks, you'll complete:

• ECG rhythm recognition assessment
• Medication safety competency evaluation
• Two attempts allowed to achieve acceptable scores on both assessments

Background & Compliance

• Background check and fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Drug screening (10-panel + nicotine) within 12 months of start date
• Annual renewal of drug screening
• Must have a clean license (no license hits accepted)
