OR Circulator – Orthopedic Surgery

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an OR Circulator for its orthopedic surgery program. You will manage preoperative circulation duties across a range of orthopedic cases, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technicians to ensure smooth, safe procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate preoperative cases in orthopedic surgery
• Prepare the OR environment and ensure instrument availability
• Verify patient identity, consent, and surgical site marking
• Maintain sterile field and assist the surgical team
• Document procedures and manage specimen handling
• Support team communication and patient safety protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license (active in Colorado)
• OR circulator experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Must reside at least 65 miles from the facility
