Cath Lab – RN/RCIS
Location: Augusta, GA
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
About the Role
Join the catheterization lab team at the facility. You'll work in a dynamic interventional environment performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures alongside experienced RNs and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS).
Clinical Scope
The lab manages a full range of procedures including:
- Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) studies
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support
- Percutaneous left ventricular assist device (Impella) placement
- Temporary pacing
- Moderate sedation cases
You'll collaborate with unit secretaries and technical staff in a well-staffed environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license or RCIS certification (or both)
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Advanced procedural skills with above-listed interventions
Schedule & Expectations
- Weekday schedule with on-call availability
- Scrub color: Royal Blue (RN) or Grey/Procedural Navy Blue (RCIS); scrubs provided
