Operating Room RN / CST – Orthopedic & Trauma Surgery

Position Overview

The facility's operating room is seeking experienced RNs and Certified Surgical Technologists for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a day shift role (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) in a high-volume surgical setting focused on orthopedic and trauma procedures.

What You'll Do

You'll work in an operating room environment supporting orthopedic and trauma surgeries. As an RN, you'll provide perioperative nursing care, maintain patient safety, and coordinate with the surgical team. As a CST, you'll prepare instruments, manage the sterile field, and assist surgeons during procedures.

Requirements

RNs:

• Current RN license
• PeriOp 101 completion required
• Minimum 1–2 years of orthopedic and trauma surgical experience
• Proficiency in perioperative protocols and patient advocacy

CSTs:

• Current CST certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of orthopedic and trauma surgical experience
• Strong knowledge of instrument sets and case management

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, days
• On-call: 4–6 calls per month, including holidays
• Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Location: Arlington, TX
