Cardiac Cath Lab – RN & Tech Positions

The Opportunity

Join a busy cardiac cath lab managing 8 cases per day on average. This facility performs all cardiac invasive procedures (except structural heart interventions), peripheral procedures including carotid and A/V graft work, and EVAR interventions. The lab has 2 suites and welcomes both scrubbing and non-scrubbing clinicians.

What You'll Do

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Support peripheral vascular and carotid procedures
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists and cardiologists
• Work alongside a charge nurse and dedicated cath lab/IR techs
• Support from IV team, RT, and pharmacy (available 24/7)

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (10-hour shifts)
• Required call with 30-minute response time
• Minimum every-other-weekend call (Friday 3:30 p.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m.)
• Average 12 call days per assignment; can range to 18 depending on staffing
• Holiday call rotates among staff
• 40 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Current RN or Cath Lab/IR Tech license
• ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience
• Valid government-issued ID at submission
• Two supervisor references (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)

Contract Details

• 13 weeks
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Orientation: 1–2 shifts (depends on experience)
• No floating to other units
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
