RN – Medical-Surgical Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical unit. You will deliver coordinated patient care, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36–48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and analyze clinical data to identify care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on nursing diagnosis
- Provide direct patient care and monitor progress toward established outcomes
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff members
- Educate patients and families on health topics and discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, compassionate care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- BLS certification (approved vendor)
- ACLS certification (approved vendor)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
